Suitable for all pregnant women. Designed to be taken throughout pregnancy to support changing nutritional requirements. It is particularly relevant for those seeking a science-led, clinically informed prenatal following conception, IVF or IUI treatment.
Time to Carry® Prenatal is crafted in collaboration with OB-GYN doctors and research scientists, and informed by over 125 clinical studies. It is formulated to provide the nutrients most critical during pregnancy, with a clear focus on bioavailability, so that nutrients are delivered in forms the body can readily absorb and use. The formulation supports normal maternal tissue growth, cognitive development, and immune function, aligning with the evolving nutritional demands of pregnancy.
Time to Carry® contains 25 essential vitamins and minerals, including Folate alongside Methylfolate to support enhanced absorption, as well as Vitamin D, Iodine, Choline, and a complete B-Complex. Together, these nutrients contribute to normal energy metabolism, nervous system function, and the nutritional foundations needed throughout pregnancy.
Take the recommended daily dose of four capsules, as stated on the label, unless otherwise advised by your healthcare professional.
Taking supplements with food can improve tolerance and absorption, particularly for Iron and fat-soluble vitamins. If nausea is an issue, taking capsules later in the day may help for some, and taking after a meal could help with this too.
Please remember that routine is key with supplements. While missing a day or two won’t have a big impact, taking it consistently will ensure the best possible results.
If you have found you are particularly sensitive to high-quality supplements in the past, we recommend starting with one capsule per day and building up to the full dosage over the course of 1-2 weeks.
OVUM was born from a deeply personal frustration: people deserve better reproductive health support.
While facing her own fertility challenges, Jenny discovered just how limited the options were: too many products lacked clinical rigour or the backing of high-quality, published scientific evidence. Determined to change that, she partnered with two leading IVF doctors to create OVUM. Today, we’re proud to lead the way in reproductive health, bringing together science, expertise, and genuine care. Read more about our journey here.

THE RIGHT FOLATES
We include both Folic Acid and Methylfolate to support maternal folate status. Folic Acid meets NHS recommendations, while Methylfolate is the biologically active form for women with different folate metabolism needs.
Choline: Supporting Early Brain Development
Choline is a critical nutrient during pregnancy, playing a key role in normal foetal brain and nervous system development. It contributes to cell membrane structure and supports normal cognitive development, while also aiding maternal liver function and lipid metabolism. Maternal Choline requirements increase during pregnancy, and intake is often insufficient. This makes it one of the most important components of prenatal nutrition.
Vitamin B-Complex for Energy and Nerve Function
Time to Carry® is formulated with a complete B-Complex to help support the body’s increased nutritional demands during pregnancy. Key B vitamins contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism and normal nervous system function, supporting maternal health as nutritional requirements change throughout pregnancy.
Iodine for Thyroid & Neurodevelopment
Iodine requirements increase during pregnancy. The WHO recognises Iodine as an essential nutrient during this time, contributing to normal thyroid function and normal cognitive function, helping support maternal nutritional needs as pregnancy progresses.
Vitamin K1 + K2 for Bone and Coagulation Support
Time to Carry® Prenatal includes both Vitamin K1 and our patented Vitamin K2VITAL™ to support maternal nutritional needs during pregnancy. Vitamin K contributes to normal blood clotting and plays a role in maintaining normal bone health.
Our patentedf Vitamin K2 is provided as a patented, microencapsulated form of MK-7, specifically designed for use in complex, mineral-containing formulations. This approach helps protect the MK-7 molecule, preserving stability throughout processing, storage, and daily use.

Many standard prenatals rely on outdated formulations and fail to reflect the latest evidence in this space. We think this is criminal - it's hard enough to secure independent, high quality scientific evidence amongst a pregnant population, so to then not make use of that evidence and have it reflected in products we can buy and make use of seems nonsensical.
Time to Carry® is built based on high-quality clinical studies, prioritising nutrients such as Iodine, Choline, Iron, and Folate in forms shown to be effective and safe during pregnancy. We also review all the evidence in this space annually and, if the evidence demands it, we'll update our formulation as needed - ensuring we're always representing the best and most recent available evidence.
Time to Carry® is built from current pregnancy research, prioritising nutrients commonly under-consumed in pregnancy and avoiding nutrients that may pose risks.
It has been formulated to be suitable for each trimester of pregnancy. Some products claim that a separate supplement is required for each of the three trimesters of pregnancy. The scientific evidence is not there to support the need for three different products, for each trimester - but it's a great marketing play.
Time to Carry® includes a total of 600mcg of Folate, this is split into 400mcg of Folic Acid, as recommended by NHS guidelines, and 200mcg of Methylfolate. You can read more on why we include this in two forms, as a split dose [here].
Yes. All included nutrients are within established safe intake ranges for pregnancy and align with NHS and WHO guidance. It does not contain retinol Vitamin A, which is contraindicated in pregnancy and not recommended by the NHS.
We are also approved stakeholders for review and input into NICE guidelines in this area.
